Payment

CostumeMarketplace.com currently accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Paypal Express Payments. Debit and Check cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo are also accepted.

Customers from North Carolina who purchase items through CostumeMarketplace.com will be charged 6.75% sales tax. This will be added automatically on the checkout page.

Shipping

Halloween Delivery
Items purchased before Thursday October 25th will be guaranteed to arrive on or before October 31st if overnight delivery is chosen as the shipping option. Items that are guaranteed, but do not arrive before Halloween will be given a full refund if item is unopened, and refused during delivery.

It is possible that items shipped via other shipping methods and purchased after Thursday October 25th could arrive before October 31st, but due to handling times and the number of orders processed we cannont guarantee a delivery date.

Please see the following table below for detailed shipping rates. Please note that orders shipped to Hawaii and Alaska may be subject to higher shipping prices along with a longer delivery time.

Orders are typically shipped within 1-2 business days. Residents of NC can expect to receive their order 1-2 days after ordering regardless of shipping method (This does not include the time it takes to pull the order).

Business days are Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm EST.

Returns

Of the thousands of items we offer many can be returned. Credit will be given for the merchandise only and does NOT include shipping charges. Returned items that are missing parts or packaging will NOT be refunded.

Return guidelines

  • A Return Authorization Number (RAN) must be obtained within 14 days of the order date. All items returned must be new, unopened, and in the original packaging. We must receive the items to be returned within 30 days of the order date. A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns. Shipping will NOT be refunded, and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us.

How to initiate a return

  • In order to return an item you must receive a RAN from us. Click the My Account button at the top of the page. Click the order that you want to return. On the orders detail page click Request Return and fill out the required fields. If you are returning part of an order please specify the items you are returning. You should receive a response to the return request within 24 hours.

Non returnable items

  • The following items are NOT returnable for any reason: Masks, Wigs, Hats, Makeup, Hairspray, Shoes, Stockings, Pantyhose, Undergarmets, Special Order Items, and Sale Items.
Sizing

Sizing information has been included in the description of almost every costume available on CostumeMarketplace.com. If you have any questions please contact us and we will be glad to help you.

The actual size purchased will be located in the item's title. When multiple sizes are available each similar item will have a description that lists all sizes available. Please be sure you are ordering the correct size as shipping costs are NOT refunded when items are returned. Manufacturer sizing may vary slightly. If you are choosing between two sizes it's usually best to select the larger size.

Searching & Browsing

Browsing for items

  • Select a category from the menu on the left to expand and display a list of subcategories
  • Choose a subcategory to browse items
  • Use the drop down box at the top of the page to sort by Name or Price
  • You have the option to view six, nine, or twelve items at a time.

Searching for items

Use the Search box in the to right corner of each page to locate specific items. Enter your search option and click Search. This search will include item titles and descriptions.

Out of Stock items

Items that are considered to be Out of Stock are still shown on the page, but the Add to Cart button has been replaced with an inactive Out of Stock button. Please check back later as our quantities are constantly updated.

Shopping Cart and Checkout

Shopping Cart

  • Click the Add to Cart button for each item you wish to purchase.
  • To remove items click the Remove link
  • To view shipping options enter your zip code and click submit
  • Select a shipping method from the drop down box
  • The shipping cost will be calculated and added to the cart total
  • Once you have selected all items and a shipping option click Checkout

Checkout

After clicking Checkout a security message will appear. This is meant to inform you that you are entering a secure section of our website. Please click OK to continue.

If you already have an account and are logged in you will be directed to the checkout page. If you do not have an account you will be asked to create a new one. We require customers to create an account so that we may contact you and provide you with additional details about your order.

Once you are at the Checkout page please review your address for errors, confirm your email address, and finally enter your credit card information. If you would like to ship to an address that is different from your billing address uncheck the Ship to Billing Address box and enter the shipping address in the new form. Click Complete to finalize your purchase.

Security and Privacy

CostumeMarketplace.com is committed to providing the most secure environment for our customers. We realize that security is very important when dealing with personal information. Because security and privacy are very important we DO NOT store Credit Card information.

Your credit card information is sent via a secure connection to our payment provider, and we are only notified when the order has been processed. We collect and store only the necessary information to keep track of your orders, and notify you if there are questions about your order. Be assured that we will NEVER sell or give out your information to anyone.

Our servers use the latest 1024-bit SSL connection available that utilizes a COMODO Security Certificate. To be sure your information is sent securely please check in the address bar of your web browser. When you select the check out option from the shopping cart you should see https:// in front of the website address before entering in your credit card information. Our servers are monitored 24/7 to prevent unauthorized access.
